Main Strategy:

Use social media as a tool to attract current and prospective clients, employees, and partners by showcasing the impact Consolidated makes in its communities. Posts should primarily focus on showcasing client events, community efforts, safety initiatives and employee involvement.

Sodexo - Blugold Dining  |  9/2019 - 5/2022

Main Strategy:

Use social media as a tool to engage our primary target audience of UW - Eau Claire students and faculty members. Students and staff responded best to on-campus dining event content, food/beverage social media campaigns, and newsworthy announcements.

 

Primary Goals:

  • Improve brand awareness and perception

  • Increase engagement with the Blugold Dining brand

Instagram

Blugold Dining’s Instagram presence was its only true following. With that said, after evaluating what students engaged with the best. Prior to being hired on, the strategy was specifically to use Instagram to provide students and faculty with Blugold Dining menus, updates and news.​

 

Upon being hired, our team evaluated the different opportunities that we could engage students with our social media page: specifically, the Instagram presence.

​

After the evaluation, I made an intentional effort to provide students with the opportunity to be on the social media with their friends (specifically at Blugold Dining events). After this increased engagement, we saw opportunity to reward students for liking/sharing a post, and following Blugold Dining. This launched by far a strong campaign that vastly increase brand awareness, social media engagement, and our following as a brand.
